In pursuit of understanding other worldviews

01
Produced Film

Labyrinths of Solace traces the beginnings of the current labyrinth movement circulating around the globe. Walking Labyrinths are a meditative experience, part of a broader movement of restorative rituals being practiced around the world.

02

Course Lecture

Media and Art is a fully accessible online lecture for a global anthropology course, ANTH 240: Living in Our Globalized World. This lecture was created to have the option for following by listening, closed captioned, or reading only -- full accessibility.

03

Produced Film

We Protest is an experimental documentary film shot from multiple perspectives and composited onto one video -- a multi-vocal and multi-perspective news format for projecting news and information in the tradition of split-screen documentaries.

04

Produced Film

We are the Other is a discussion of ethnicity in our population from the "Halfie" perspective, those people who fit into multiple ethnic worlds, how their own community defines them even as they define themselves.

05

Website Pitch

Mondoglobe.com is a website that I would like to grow from blog to an alternative news and information site proposing graduate students and native intellectuals report on events of significance from around the world.

06

Series Preview

The Virtual Pilgrim is a preview of a proposed travel series with Kayleen Asbo, Ph.D. as cohost. A series meant to travel the world virtually to provide the sights and sounds AND cultural history of place prior to -- or in lieu of -- traveling abroad.

other developed Skills

I have been fortunate to have had several careers, and jobs within those careers: Shakespearean actor, operations manager, applied ethnographic researcher, college course designer, and academic senator. Communication and working in a cohort have always been the most rewarding experiences.

To be Part of the Human diversity team

In my book Cultivating Human: How Evolution, Diversity, and Communication Uniquely Shaped Humanity, I outline the importance of diversity in the overall progress of human civilization. It was with incredible joy I received my own DNA results and feel so included in the great struggle in America of the oppressed and the oppressor. I am overjoyed by the inclusion. Let’s find out more about our respective strengths!
